May 13, 2019

Bellway will release up to 1,000 new homes for sale across London and the South East as the UK’s largest developer-run sales event returns for the third year

The Bellway Homebuyers Event will take place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May at The O2 Intercontinental Hotel in Greenwich

Hundreds of homes will be available to purchase with Help to Buy at locations including Barking Riverside, Thurrock, Croydon, Greenwich, Grays, Woolwich, Poplar, Beckton and Old Isleworth.

New developments in Ebbsfleet, Bexleyheath, Sydenham and Hayes will also go on sale for the first time.

Ian Gorst, Bellway Regional Chairman for London and the South East, said: "This year’s Bellway Homebuyers Event promises to be bigger and more popular than ever.

"Never before have we released this amount of homes for sale at one event and we know from our database that the demand for homes at these developments is strong."

He added: "Our homebuyer events have helped hundreds of people to purchase a new home.

"Most have been first-time buyers using Help to Buy or London Help to Buy.

"We will help even more people to achieve their dream of home ownership using these schemes at the upcoming event."

The Bellway Homebuyers Event has grown for 2019.

Seven new developments will be launched and sites in Barking, Bishop’s Stortford, Hornchurch and Dartford which are due to launch in 2020 will be showcased.

There will be a range of discounts exclusive to the event, as well as investor opportunities and packages.

The first people to reserve each day will be able to choose a free item of furniture for their new home.

Independent financial advisors and solicitors will be on hand to offer advice and the Bellway team will be ready to guide visitors through their Help to Buy and London Help to Buy applications.

London Help to Buy is available across all London boroughs and enables purchasers to secure a home with a five per cent deposit and a 55 per cent mortgage.

The remaining 40 per cent is provided as an equity loan backed by the Government.

Help to Buy is available across the wider South East.

It offers an equity loan of 20 per cent to purchasers of new homes who have a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage.

The Bellway Homebuyers Event takes place from 12pm to 7pm on Friday 17th May and 10am to 5pm on Saturday 18th May on the second floor of the O2 Intercontinental
